A man who was barricaded inside an area home has been taken into custody by the New York State Police.
The Dutchess County standoff began around 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the area of Osborne Hill Road in the Town of Wappinger.
State police announced around 12:47 p.m., that the situation had been resolved "peacefully."
State police did not reveal the nature of the stand-off but did announce additional details would be released later Wednesday.
During the stand-off, heavily armed police surrounded the area and used a bullhorn to communicate with a person inside the home.
